Canal Trip, Don't Forget the Paper

Wednesday was very similarity to Tuesday expect around 6 we left to meet up with the whole group for a canal boat trip. One thing that was interesting was the boat was made for cargo, not people. So the boat was long and sender but enough room to wonder around. The other thing was the food. We had a buffet but buffet here is extremely different. Buffet here refers to various finger foods. They brought out different trays of food, interesting experience.

1- piece of bread with ham/turkey and an odd onion jelly mixture
2- sausage links, but they were a weird squishy feeling, very different
3-chips (French fries)
4-chicken fingers, that looked like fish (it was odd)
5-egg rolls- didn’t taste too great
6-chips (French fries)
7-pizza (thin pizza, quickly disappeared though)
8-cream puffs, raisin bread, odd squishy cake

It was an interesting selection of food, but it was a lot of fun to hang out with everyone and we got to see some of the expensive houses going down the river.

Of course after returning I went back to working on my paper and ended up staying up til about 5am trying to make sure I had everything. Then I got a short nap in and I got up around 7am so I could get to the school early to print it, and I wanted to be early enough just in case something happened. This story will continue on the next blog!
